Setting for Flute Choir
In 1840, Robert Schumann took five poems by Friedrick Ruckert, set them to music as songs, and dedicated them to his beloved Clara as a wedding gift. Franz Liszt arranged Dedication for solo piano in 1849. It was revised by William Scharfenberg and has now been set for flute choir by David H. Bailey. This exquisite piece is reminiscent of Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine. For advanced players.
