La valse

The purpose of my transcription was to make the radiance, vividness and grandezza of the original orchestral version of "La Vlase" (1920) performable on a solo piano. My main challenge was to bring out the idea of the music despite its manifold technical obstacles, and to find fitting sounds for the myriad instrumental parts of the original while keeping the piece within the capabilities of an advanced pianist.
