Titanic-Choral
Der Choral "Näher mein Gott zu Dir" ist heute auch als "Titanic-Choral" bekannt. Die Bordkapelle der Titanic stimmte eben diesen Choral ein letztes Mal an, nachdem das Schiff als Folge der Kollision mit einem Eisberg zu sinken begann und bevor die einsetzende Schräglage weiteres Muszieren verhinderte.
Der Choral liegt hier in einer Bearbeitung für Streichquartett mit Kontrabass ad libitum vor.
