Die vorliegenden vier Fanfaren von Leopold Kozeluch (1747 - 1818), Musiklehrer und Kammerkomponist am Wiener Hofenstammen einer größeren Sammlung dreistimmiger Fanfaren für Parfocehörner. Dieses Arrangement erlaubt eine Aufführung als Duett (1. und 2. Stimme), Trio (1., 2. und 4. Stimme) oder eben in der Quartettfassung. Dazu gibt es zwei Ausgaben: eine für Parfocehörner in Es (Ventilhörner in F sollten nach Es transponieren) sowie eine erleichterte Version für Ventilhörner in F in klingend C-Dur.
