Partitur und Stimmen
Written for the Boston-based group Triple Helix in 2002, Amnesia Redux is scored for the standard piano trio combination of Violin, Violoncello and Piano. From the stern and vigorous opening through the bravura passages written for the two string players, to the quiet and nearly serene conclusion, Amnesia Redux explores a wide variety of styles and textures within the resources of a piano trio. A challenging and rewarding work for developed players, Amnesia Redux lasts about twelve minutes. It received its first New York performance in July 2007 at the Museum of Modern Art Summergarden New Music New York Series by players from The Juilliard School.
