Pisa

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is undoubtedly one of the most famous and legendary towers in the world. The main motif of the piece symbolizes the three bells of the tower. The theme with the great effect of a downward motif symbolizing the leaning tower, in contrast to the held chords, returns throughout the piece in different versions. The finale is a parade of all the orchestras from the Pisa area who come to the city to celebrate and are accompanied by the bells of the tower!
