Kantate zum 15. Sonntag nach Trinitatis

Vermutlich im Jahr 1730 entstand in Leipzig Bachs berühmte Kantate für Solo-Sopran, Trompete, Streicher und Basso continuo BWV 51, „Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen“. Besonders der Sopran- und der Trompetenpart bestechen durch ihre Virtuosität. Für eine Aufführung in Halle ergänzte Bachs ältester Sohn Wilhelm Friedemann den originalen Stimmensatz der Nummern 1 und 4 um eine zweite Trompetenstimme und Pauken und erhöhte damit noch einmal den glanzvollen Charakter des Werks.
Erstmals ist dieses Stimmenarrangement als ergänzendes Aufführungsmaterial veröffentlicht. Die Version von Wilhelm Friedemann Bach kann mit den bislang erhältlichen Streicherstimmen kombiniert verwendet werden.
