Edited from the autographs, manuscript copies and original editions
Urtext
In addition to sonatas and variation works, Ludwig van Beethoven also left behind a considerable number of individual pieces for piano. They range from larger works such as "Die Wuth über den verlornen Groschen" or Fantasy Op. 77 to the witty miniatures of the bagatelles.
In terms of their genesis, they pervade the entire œuvre of the composer from his time in Bonn to the last years of his life. The new edition rounds off the previous selection with important works such as the - also educationally interesting - rondos (WoO 48 and 49) from 1784 or pieces that have so far gone largely unnoticed, such as the musically extremely attractive Allegretto in C minor WoO 214.
The edition also includes the Ländlerischer Tanz, newly discovered in January 2020.
