Vox humana – Italy

The "Vox humana" series presents easy to moderately difficult organ literature from various countries. The pieces chosen are all playable at sight, if necessary on smaller instruments.

It is a collection of short but well written "Gebrauchsmusik", suitable for sight-reading but never exceeding the capacities of the part-time organist. Encompassing a broad range of styles, it can save organists much time – consuming research work.

Volume 7 contains a selection of Neapolitan organ music from the 18th to early 19th century. A survey of scarcely-known organ literature and a welcome addition to the repertoire.
