Der bekannte niederländische Blasmusikkomponist Meindert Boekel (1914-1989) schrieb 'Nu daagt het in den Oosten' (Es tagt im Osten), eine Bearbeitung eines offiziellen Lieds der Refor-mierten Kirche. Er machte ein Arrangement für Brassband und 1968 diese Faßung für gemischtes Chor und Blas-orchester.
