Christoph Wundrak and Stefan Redtenbacher began working on this composition in March a few years ago. Before they actually started putting ideas on paper or into Sibelius, they agreed on the overall style, form, and instrumentation. One important requirement for them was to write relatively simple parts so that the musicians could focus on the feel of the music rather than the complexity of the notes.
