This simple and effective setting of Psalm 67 was written for the marriage ceremony of two of the composer’s close friends. The work is constructed around the psalm’s refrain ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee’, initially incanted very softly by the SATB chorus then gradually strengthening with each iteration.
