Catcher of Shadows was written in celebration of the work of photographer Frank Meadow Sutcliffe who lived and worked in the Yorkshire fishing port of Whitby at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. His work is largely of the sea, its tall ships and the people that live by and from it.
