Harri Wessman (b. 1949) composed ten easy pieces for young cellists and pianists in 1991. The idiomatic approach to writing music makes the pieces easy to adopt. The cellist should be acquinted with the first and fourth position and preferably also with the third, and with the most common flageolets.
