This Fantasy is a virtuoso and expressiv piece. Loose threads at the beginning, scattered pizzicato- and flageolett-sounds join up to a lively figure, which gets a lyrical opposite on its side. This melody spreads several times, but the vivace-theme contradicts and finally keeps an upper hand in a furious finish.
