The Swiss conductor and composer, Oscar Tschuor studied with Luca Chresta in Chur, and at the Conservatorium of Zurich with Ernst Lüthold, but was largely self taught. In 1943 he founded the Youth Wind Orchestra of Chur, which he directed until 1956.
