"Contra Dance Suite" is a collection of three pieces commonly performed at dance gatherings in the Pacific Northwest. All three pieces share the same simple dance structure.

In the spirit of the aural tradition, encourage all members of the orchestra to learn the melodies of these dances by ear and try playing them in unison without the printed page. Enjoy!
