This expressive and exciting concerto by David Heath was specially commissioned for virtuoso saxophonist Gerard McChrystal. It contains a deliberately sparse Piano accompaniment, to allow scope for self-expression in concertorehearsal or performance with Piano and Saxophone in its own right.
