This volume represents the only annual cycle of sacred music of the 18th century printed in score; it was completed in 1744. The textual basis stems from Erdmann Neumeister. In contrast to the usual practice of the Telemann Edition to edit segments of the church years, here the entire course of the church year is presented. The music to be performed at the beginning of each part of the church year and at special celebrations is included.
