The collection contains pieces transcribed for one or two trumpets with piano accompaniment in the order of difficulty. It comprises such popular works as Mozart's Turkish March, certain movements of Handel's Water Music and Fireworks Music, the famous solo from Don Pasquale, the Neapolitan Dance from Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake (for two trumpets) or a set of Christmas carols such as Stille Nacht, O Tannenbaum and Jingle bells.
