Description
The Polka française "Sängerlust" op. 328 by Johann Strauss was composed in 1868. Andreas Simbeni's wind orchestra arrangement, designed for flexible instrumentation and percussion, allows even smaller orchestras to effectively showcase the infectious energy and distinctive brilliance of this polka. This work has frequently been performed at the famous New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic.
