Description

This potpourri was written especially for the Vienna Operetta Orchestra and performed by this renowned orchestra in 2007 in the “Metropolitan Hall” (Tokyo / Japan). The aim of the arrangement was to bring together the well-known fiery melodies from “Èljen a Magyar”, the “Csárdás” from the opera “Ritter Pázman” (both J. Strauß) and the “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 5” (J. Brahms) into a larger whole.
