“Chariot”, better known as “I Will Follow Him” is a song written by Franck Pourcel and Paul Mauriat. The song dates from 1961, but was still instrumental at the time. Pourcel and Mauriat still wrote it under their pseudonyms J.W. Stole (Pourcel) and Del Roma (Mauriat). Jacques Plante then wrote French lyrics to it, Norman Gimbel wrote the English lyrics.
