This lyrical ballad by Pavel Stanek is not based on a patriotic idea: neither a song nor a poem. It is one of the melodious pieces so typical of the composer that characterises his composing. "My Country" is more of a declaration of love to Moravia, the beautiful homeland of Stanék, coming from the heart. An unobtrusive way, which convinces above all by its simple structure and the beautiful melody.
