Erin's Isle was commissioned by euphonium player Micah Parsons and premiered by him in June 2024. The underlying idea was to write a slow melody with an Irish flavour.

The title is a romantic 19th century name referring to the island of Ireland itself. The work begins with gentle clusters in the piano, below which a tentative theme is heard.
