In this medley Naohiro Iwai presents highlights of various American pop and folk songs. The title song Jambalaya (on the Bayou) is one of the most successful Cajun songs and was made famous by the country singer Hank Williams, whose version occupied the number one spot in the country charts for weeks and also made it into the pop charts.
