Commissioned in 2023 by the Laguna Flutes, The Spirit of Water is composed in two sections with the first part depicting the gentler side of water. The beginning notes represent the first drops of rain that then gain intensity and grow into a rain shower. This is followed by a lyrical melody that mirrors the feeling of floating along the gentle current of a river.
