Senchuk's Flute Concerto was commissioned by Texas Woman’s University in 2018 as a tribute to a flute pedagogue and professional, Dr. Pamela Youngblood. The concerto is in a standard three-movement form, with the first and third movements acting as fast, virtuosity bookends to the much more gentle and lyrical second movement.
