The orchestration for band of the Cavatina from the first act “Largo al Factotum” by Gioacchino Rossini was done in absolute adherence to the original score for orchestra, with the aim of making the sound of the ensemble accompanying the soloist light and respectful of the singer's vocality, as it results from the orchestral score.
