Stepán Rak (1945) is a prominent Czech guitarist, composer and teacher. Minute Solos is a collection of short, musically inventive compositions for guitar beginners.

They are divided according to their character into the sections Moods, Songs Without Words and Dances. Although not technically demanding, they represent a good introduction into a wide range of expressive means for guitar adepts. The texts are set in Czech, English and German.
