“Venti di Maggio” is a piece commissioned by the concert band of Casalbuttano (CR) on the occasion of Andrea Maggioni’s 20th anniversary as conductor. The slow tempo and moderate level of difficulty, in the composer’s distinctive style, make it especially suitable for developing phrasing, sound balance, and intonation. It is particularly well suited as an expressive interlude within a concert program.
