To optimise the pronunciation of musicians, the publisher uses the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
This transcription with phonetic transcription is then made available in the musical editions together with the original vocal text of the respective language. To ensure the perfect singing experience, ipipapa works together with language experts in the target languages, professional singers and choir conductors on the editions. The latest technical developments in the fields of linguistics and musicology are also taken into account.
The publishing house ipipapa was founded in 2022 by Korbinian Slavik and Theresa Henkel with the aim of simplifying singing in foreign languages.
