A Farewell to Arms

A Farewell to Arms was written for commander Dick van Putten when he left The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee after many years of service. The composer combines traditional techniques like a fugato and chorale, illustrating the musical preferences of Comm. van Putten. Lots of percussion and several heroic themes make this piece an ideal concert opener or a spectacular festive piece.
