Heinrich Poos´ Ein Stundenbuch is a contribution to the Luther Year 2017. Poos sets relevant passages from the Bible to music, such as Die Seligpreisungen for choir (SSAATTBB), positive organ, violoncello and double-bass. The eight movements, prologue and epilogue contain contemplative, agitated and bombastic passages. With Vater unser and a thunderous Amen, the work would be suitable for the second half of a concert.
