Elegy

Subtitled “A Musical Tribute to Václav Havel,” ELEGY for cello and piano by Lora Al-Ahmad commemorates the thirtieth anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. The music seeks (and eventually finds) assurance and calm through a sea of turbulent heartache.
