This edition of the Messa del Sig.re Niccolò Piccinni is based on the manuscript copies of the time (carried out by several copyists) of the separate parts – soprano, contralto, tenore, basso, tromba prima, tromba seconda, violino primo, violino secondo, violetta di ripieno and organ – all held in the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal in Lisbona.
