This cheerful birthday serenade, composed in the style of Mozart and arranged by Dietrich Paul, uses the well-known birthday songs 'Happy Birthday to You' (1st theme) and 'Hoch soll er leben' (2nd theme). Initially written for the piano and now set for strings by the experienced arranger Wolfgang Birtel, this piece is enjoyable and amusing for all Mozart lovers - and also suitable as an encore piece in concerts.
