The Canon and Gigue in D major is the most well-known work by the Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel, often believed to have been composed for the wedding of Johann Christoph Bach, the elder brother of Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged for three B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet, it provides a rich blend of sound.
