Edward ""Kid"" Ory was one of the greatest trombonists in the early years of jazz. From 1912 to 1919 he leaded of one of the most popular bands in New Orleans which eventually defined the ""Hot Jazz""-style. king Oliver, Louis Armstrong and Jimmie Noone was one of many. He moved to California in 1919, and started a new group under the name Kid Ory's Creole Orchestra before he moved to Chicago and contributed to the spreading of Dixieland music to a wider audience together with King Oliver, Louis...
