This composition is characterised by thrilling, percussive and challenging rhythm. The dialogue of the parts has them playing with, after and counter to each other. Polyphonic, rhythmically pulse-like and minimalistically repetitive ideas coalesce in the dialogues of this work of the same name (“dialoge”).

The intonation, dynamics, phrasing and rhythm of the two instrumental parts require fruitful. ‘negotiation’ in rehearsing this piece in order to make the music transparent and understandable by means of clear intonation, rhythmic precision and dynamic clarity. This provides the foundation for music that enthrals the musicians and the audience in equal measure.
