Schneeflocken

This is a two-part choral piece with percussion accompaniment by Dominik J. Dieterle that transforms the child-like restlessness on Christmas Eve into the dancing bustle of whirling snowflakes. Continuous meter changes create a cheerful musical picture that allows the singers and the audience alike to look back to Christmastime of childhood before the piece opens out into a calm and confidently optimistic refrain.
