Light and uplifting, Sonata in D K.448 written in 1781, is a refined and in places delicate work. Though it builds and intensifies, it never falls short of elegant brilliance.
The second piece Fugue In C Minor K.426 Mozart later transcribed for Adagio and Fugue, string orchestra, K. 546, C minor.
