This divertimento was composed in 1777 in Salzburg, originally for 2 oboes, 2 horns and 2 bassoons. This divertimento has been arranged for wood wind quintet more than once. Unfortunately, those are arranged first to be easily playable but not that the original sound is nearly transformed into the new instrument combination.
