The Virtuoso Piano Transcription Series presents sophisticated piano transcriptions of well-known past and present works. The art of transcription and paraphrase, particularly established by Franz Liszt, is still a favourite form of piano music today. For this edition, in 2002, Cyprien Katsaris transcribed one of the most important arias from Die Entführung aus dem Serail by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
