This old Gaelic melody was made world famous by Cat Stevens. It has found its way into the Protestant and Catholic hymnals. The English text was created by Mrs. Eleonor Farjeon (1888-1964), the German text is by Jürgen Henkys (1929-2015) and begins with the words: "Morgenlicht leuchtet".
Since both texts are still protected by the authors or their successors, it has not been included in the present edition. You can easily find all the common 3 or 4 verses in songbooks, in the hymnal or on the...
