Moonlight Serenade is considered the "signature tune" for the sound of the Glenn Miller Orchestra. First recorded in 1939, the romantic piece was in fact only the b-side of a piece called Sunrise Serenade, but very quickly achieved an unexpected, enormous popularity that still continues today. Bigband sound at its best!
