In "Metarmorphoses" Lukaš ties in stylistically with authentic folk music and develops - as in many of his works - the simplest melodic lines through harmonic developments and rhythmic subtleties to artistic sound structures. This effectively charged work begins with a trumpet solo and is in parts almost "dominated" by the sound character of the tightly scaled sheet metal, which lends "Metamorphoses" a radiant, solemn character.
