The 11 supplementary volumes under preparation are a continuation of series I and II (works for piano solo) of the New Liszt Edition and contain early versions which hardly differ from the final form, primarily those which Liszt himself published. Alongside these are unpublished first versions, and a few works which were omitted from series I and II (e.g. Technical Studies, Berlioz: Harold en Italie).
