Paul Lincke (1866-1946) is Germany's best known operetta composer and often compared with Austria's Johann Strauss. He composed a lot of operetta's, songs, dance- , revue- and filmmusic. The Operetta 'Frau Luna' is his best known work and was, after its premiere in 1889, performed 600 times in a row!
