Description
Ernesto Köhler (1849-1907), principal flutist of the Imperial Opera in St. Petersburg, dedicated vour character pieces, among these this polka, to his Imperial Highness Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich, Tsarevich of all Russians. The Grand Duke was the brother of the Tsar and until one year after publication of the pieces in 1903, the direct heir to the throne.
